We got a year membership to the zoo...which has proved to be invaluable. Roanin loves the animals, there are other munchkins to play with, and Shawn and I usually have a pretty good time as well. Here are a few pics from a recent trip.

We went early in the morning, and the animals were more active than usual...especially the lions. This picture was taken right after the huge male lion came over and roared right us at the window. The lioness was just as sassy. Roanin loved it.
This picture doesn't do it justice...but they were so close. Seriously...makes you a little leary of that piece of glass.
