Shawn and Roanin went out to run some errands with the horse trailer a couple of weekends ago. They came back with this.

You have heard the expression "good cop, bad cop." I think the same concept applies to parents. Typically, within the pair, there is a good parent and a bad parent. One that is more lax, more fun, more go-with-the-flow, and more spontaneous. The other tends to be more of the disciplinarian, more of the plan-enforcer, and more of the one that tends to think things through before making them happen.

ok, there is NO WAY you can get me to believe that Shawn went out and bought a freakin pony without running it past you first.....Josh had told me about the "new addition". I know Roanin is stoked!
That is TOO funny, although I agree with Krista - you had to have known that was coming!
The boys went to get two mini-donkeys that I knew we were getting (pictures of them to come) and they came back with the pony with NO WARNING, NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE, and NO HEADS-UP. You gotta sneak things past the bad cop like that...
That's right, I did and I am LOVING IT!
