Simply Snowy
We woke up to a white, fluffy yard on Friday morning. The boys couldn't get their coats on quick enough. Roanin wanted nothing to do with breakfast, just kept begging to go out and make snowballs (a new thing this year...snowmen are so last year).
Exhibit A: Roanin was a snowball machine. This was cute the first 3 times. After having my camera hit like ten times, I was over it.
Perfecting his weapon of choice. Thank you Daddy for teaching him the perfect technique.
Daddy with his two little snowmen. Rex was so over layered that his little arms were always out at this angle. Reminded me of that kid on A Christmas Story.
As a direct result of the puffy little over layered marshmallow, I spent the outside snow time going back and forth between taking pictures and having to rescue my little man after he would fall down because he was unable to use his arms to push himself up. Again, cute the first 3 times...
Love these snow monkeys.
Once the sun came out later in the afternoon, we went back out to play a little more. The snow was starting to melt in spots, and Rex figured out if he soaked his mittens he could then suck the water out of them to get a drink. Call the kid resourceful.
Ahh...the perfect snowball. The one that took like 30 min to put together and then is too heavy to pick up and throw.
Happy Winter!
