The Road to the Final Four is Now Closed

Shawn and I have never been big sports fans. But this year, we decided to give into the hype and joined in the fun to cheer on the Baylor men's basketball team as they made it into the Sweet Sixteen. We were able to take the boys to their first college basketball game when Baylor played Texas at the beginning of March. THEY LOVED IT. Well....Roanin loved it and Rexy loved it after the initial shock of the madness and all the screaming we were greeted with upon entering the arena. Nothing like jumping into the sporting world with an infant that doesn't like loud sounds at a game where the game is sold out to the loudest crowd on record.
We just watched the Bears get beat by Duke, which means they won't make it to the Final Four...but the road sure was interesting. We might even think about doing this again. Maybe.

The new girl in RoRo's life

So...it has been decided. We have found Roanin's future wife. It just works perfectly that she belongs to a newly found GREAT friend, Michelle. Michelle and her two cuties, Sydney and Aiden came over recently for a playdate at our house. It was a GORGEOUS day, and we took full advantage of it (and blamed the excessive hanging out on needing to let the new couple spend some time together).

Miss Sydney

We took them down to the river and explored this super-cool cave.

A good couple needs to be able to work together. Check.

Someone was cutting his first tooth and was not happy. Can you tell? Michelle didn't take no for an answer.

Thanks for a great day guys!

Adios Old Man Winter

Since Spring is here, perhaps it is time to say goodbye to winter and show you the several week old pictures of our snow day. The boys took full advantage of the festiveness of the day and built a snowman....excuse me....let me rephrase.....BUILT A SNOWMAN. I mean, you know that a snowman is hardcore when the lead builder (Shawn) almost has heart failure during the construction. I think Rexy was a little alarmed by it, actually.

All this hard work made Mr. Man a little hungry...good thing the snowman comes with snacks!

It was fun...but thank goodness the cold stuff is almost finished. Bring on some heat!

More babies...thank goodness I am not the one having them!

We have had a few new additions to the Dunsmore clan. Over the past few weekends, we have had 10 new baby goats born. Needless to say, Roanin has been THRILLED with the entire process. Because he has seen all aspects...even one of the female goats having twins...he is very into it. He has become quite the little goat-whisperer. We couldn't be more proud.

Gotta Love Life on the Farm

I love Saturdays when getting dressed up means getting out the hoodies and the backpack to tromps around the pasture. When the only people we see are each other. When all that matters is if we have enough time for another game of t-ball before lunch. I love my life on the farm.

Let the Smack-Down Begin

Wrestlemania is fine as long as you are friends in the end.
