Halloween 2010 ( also....I'm BAAAAACK...)

Not sure why I have been gone for so long...guess things have just been crazy busy.  Halloween seems like a faint memory, good thing I have some pics from the big day to jog the old lazy brain.  We had an awesome time with our awesome friends - eating, drinking and stocking up for like the next 20 years on candy.

Hope your Halloween was as freaky as ours was!  More catch up to come...

Extreme Makeover....Home Edition (Literally)

These little blonde curls had gotten a little on the Billy Ray Cyrus side, so I took matters into my own hands and got out the old scissors to give Rex his first haircut.  What started out in the house in a chair quickly morphed into an outside chase-fest to try and finish the job.

The finished product.  Several friends said I made a mistake...but I love my new big boy.
How could you not?

F is for Fall

All this gorgeous weather lets us eat dinner outside about 3 times a week.  The boys and Shawn and I all love it.  The boys love being outside and we love watching them be boys outside.

Happy Fall Ya'll!

Our Farming Technique

Anyone else see a problem with the cat napping in the chicken coop?

Yeah, us either.

School Daze

I know we are like a month in...but here are the pictures from Roanin's first day at school.

We stopped Mother's Day Out last December because the school we were at just wasn't working out anymore and we felt like we wanted a break.  So after about eight months of just chillin' at home, we sent our little man out into the world.  He has started two mornings a week at the Montessori school, which is turning out to be a perfect match for Roanin.  The approach to learning is awesome and really refreshing, and we are so happy so far.  He is mixed into a class with 3, 4, and 5 year olds and loves being able to learn with the big kids.  We love his new teacher, Ms. Julie, and her assistant, Ms. Tali.

Bring on PTA meetings and school parties, preschool rocks.
