Roanin's new cousin-to-be

We are so excited....my little brother Josh and his lovely wife Krista are expecting their first baby, and they just found out that it is going to be a girl! Here is the ultrasound that sealed the deal...isn't she a cutie? I can already see the resemblance to little Ro Ro. Roanin is very excited about the new addition to his cousin collection (he has so many beautiful cousins already!) and can't wait until she gets here to play! ETA: Christmas 2007!!

Summertime

We have been really busy lately....so much has been going on. Roanin has taken plenty of time to relax though....here he is with his froggy towel on after bathtime.

We started swim lessons this week....Roanin is doing great with it. Here he is in his trunks, sun hat, and cover up. He wears the trunks and hat in the water. He loves to play around and even dunks his head under (with Mom's help). He has made a few new friends in class.

DJ (Sarah's nephew) came to stay with us for two weeks. He and Shawn finished lots of projects...one of which was building this new fence in the back of our house. It looks so good.

He is growing like a weed! I can't believe it! We are having a blast being parents and can't get enough of our little man. He is hilarious. We feel so blessed.

Roanin is 3 and 1/2 months old. I can hardly believe he is already as big as he is! I actually had to pack up a box of clothes he can no longer fit into. It was heartbreaking! He is very active....smiling, giggling, cooing, and wiggling as much as he can. He loves to have his parents help him stand up on his little legs so he can pretend to walk. His other favorite activity is sticking out his tongue at whoever will stick out theirs out at him first. Here are some recent photos.

I took Roanin to a baby shower for our neighbors Bill and Nicole and their bun in the oven Bellamy (Roanin's future girlfriend). All the ladies at the shower loved his little sailor outfit that his Nana got him.

I went fishing on 6-29-07 at American Falls Reservoir. All of the fish are rainbow trouts. The one is over 4 lbs. My neighbor is retired and has a boat so I went with him.

This B-17 was on display at the Idaho Falls Airport on 6/20/07. It is apart of the Confederate Air force Fleet. Roanin was sleeping but I know he will be glad we took him to have pictures of him with the plane when he is older.
